The Waffle Window got a nice photo and plug in the July edition of Via Magazine, which is a AAA travel companion. The article talks about Portland’s east side experiencing a “culinary moment.”
There are storefronts selling one fabulous product, such as … the Waffle Window on SE Hawthorne (try one with hot apple pie topping)…Because they depend on the repeat business of a local clientele rather than expense-account splurges and onetime tourist drop-ins, these places are casual, personal, reliable, and fairly priced.
